Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to develop creative interior design concepts for residential and commercial projects.
- Participate in all project phases, from conceptual design through construction administration, ensuring design integrity and quality.
- Produce detailed drawings, presentations, and renderings to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Cook up with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure design solutions are executed accurately and meet client expectations.
- Afford materials, finishes, furnishings, and equipment that align with the design vision and project requirements.
- Conduct research and stay current with industry trends, innovations, and best practices in workplace and commercial interiors.
- Support project documentation, including construction documents, specifications, and schedules.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, providing design insight and recommendations.
- Travel as needed to support project installations and site visits across the U.S.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field.
- 3 to 8 years of experience in interior design, with a focus on residential (multi-family) and commercial projects.
- Self-starter, passionate about design, strong design and conceptual thinking skills, and a portfolio showcasing innovative and well-executed projects.
- Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, Enscape, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to clients and team members.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- LEED accreditation or progress toward licensure (NCIDQ) is a plus.
