Interior Designer II

About the role

Performs interior design work for all Sentara businesses including Corporate, Hospitals, Optima, Life Care, SMG, SE and MPB providing all aspects of the profession; i.e. client meetings, space planning, development of AutoCAD plans, selection and specifications of colors, building finishes, furnishings and fabrics, project coordination, bidding, awarding, and construction administration.

Responsibilities

• Develops and delivers design presentations to customer.
• Develops Space Needs Programs to determine square footage needed and department adjacencies.
• Develops budgets for furnishings and construction.
• Manages projects.

Requirements

• Certified Interior Designer preferred
• AutoCAD experience required
• 7 years Commercial Interior Design
• 7 years Construction Administration
