About the role

The selected individual will work with regional and national healthcare clients on projects of varying size and scope, collaborating with a team dedicated to advancing breakthrough ideas through design thinking. Projects span the full spectrum of healthcare facilities, including Acute Care Hospitals, Specialty Centers, and outpatient facilities. This role requires a team member who leads with a positive attitude and thrives in a highly ambitious, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide interiors-focused healthcare expertise to enhance collective design concepts.
  • Participate in or lead programming and pre-planning design analysis.
  • Contribute conceptual design input and documentation for healthcare projects ranging from small upfits to large renovations and additions.
  • Assist in or prepare FF&E and artwork recommendations, supporting procurement and installation.
  • Assist with or lead the development of interior design standards for clients.
  • Assist with or lead presentation composition for visioning and design meetings.
  • Coordinate with graphic artists, signage & wayfinding designers, branding & experience design experts, artwork & furniture vendors, industry product representatives, and engineering consultants to deliver fully integrated design solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited university.
  • 3+ years of experience.
  • Excellent presentation, drawing, and sketching skills.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written), organizational, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Revit (required) and Microsoft Suite; other design-related programs are a plus.
  • Motivated self-starter who works well in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to communicate comfortably and confidently with team members and clients.

Preferred Qualifications

  • On the path to certification or NCIDQ-certified Interior Designer.
  • Proficiency in SketchUp, InDesign, Photoshop, and/or Enscape.
