Position Summary
We are seeking an emerging Interior Designer to join our New Jersey studio. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a range of project phases while developing core design and technical skills.
Responsibilities
- Support project teams in developing creative, concept-driving interior design solutions, contributing ideas and helping advance assigned project components.
- Learn and apply foundational knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and building systems, and use project standards, codes, and detailing guidelines to support design and documentation across all phases.
- Assist with space planning, concept development, FF&E and materials selection, and preparation of design and construction documents (drawing, schedules, and specifications) under the guidance of project leadership.
- Manage tasks and deadlines, communicate progress and questions proactively, and incorporate feedback from project leaders to meet project commitments.
Qualifications
- Recent completion of a professional degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field
- 0-3 years of interior design experience
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, 3D modeling/rendering software, Adobe Creative Suite, Teams, and MS Office
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent graphic and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
