Job Overview
Cass Calder Smith Architecture + Interiors is growing and seeks an Interior Designer with 5+ years of professional experience for their San Francisco office. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in design and production, with proficiency in industry-standard software.
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality mood boards, graphic designs and visualizations for presentations and client proposals.
- Create accurate schematics, technical drawings, and drafting documentation for various projects.
- Utilize CAD tools to develop plans and details for interior layouts and millwork.
- Develop detailed 3D designs using software such as SketchUp, Revit, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D.
- Assist in construction documentation, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to refine designs and incorporate client feedback effectively.
Experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in interior design.
- Professional or master’s degree from an accredited program (preferred).
- Experience in Residential and Commercial projects (preferred).
- REVIT experience required.
- Highly proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite programs.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering programs.
- Possess hand sketching and hand rendering skills.
- Familiarity with residential and commercial construction details and methods, and code requirements unique to commercial environments.
- Hands-on approach.
- Able to manage and produce a comprehensive specification package for architectural finishes and FF&EE.
- Eagerness to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of responsibility.

Compensation is commensurate with experience and ability- Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000
