Responsibilities
- Experience in each phase of project from programming through construction administration
- Space planning and test-fit abilities
- Aid in specification and detail drawing
- Review and respond during construction administration; attend construction phase meetings when required; evaluate change orders, RFIs and submittals
- Work with the project manager and the project lead designer(s) in creating interior environments which serve the client’s goals, image and aesthetic requirements
- Select appropriate finish materials and furnishings
- Develop presentation materials including 3D renderings
- Cookordination of work with other disciplines
- Execute and enhance the design intent while preparing the construction documents
- Work with architecture and the engineering disciplines to ensure a consistent development of the project towards the design concepts established in earlier phases
- Prepare furniture budgets
- Develop project and furniture specifications and other technical requirements of projects
- Prepare interiors and furniture punch lists
Requirements
- Professional Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
- 3-5 years of design and project experience
- NCIDQ certified or working towards certification
- Strong writing and organizational skills
- Working proficiency in Revit
- Rendering experience with Enscape or similar programs
- Proficiency in Adobe suite software
- Experience with AI-assisted design and productivity tools is preferred; willingness to learn and adopt new technologies is essential
