Interim VP of Quality

About the Role

As the Interim Manager/Director of Quality Management and Infection Prevention, you will manage the facility’s quality and performance improvement (PI) programs, including outcomes analysis, and ensure the implementation and completeness of the Infection Control Program. This role promotes performance improvement staff education and development.

Responsibilities

• Apply quality principles, theories, and tools in daily work.
• Perform data analysis and statistical tasks using data management, word processing, and presentation software.
• Utilize strong project management skills within a healthcare environment.
• Interact effectively with physicians, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
• Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Perform detailed, concentrated work with limited supervision.
• Identify issues and initiate improvements.
• Comply strictly with all HCA safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Quality Management, Healthcare Administration, or ten+ years of experience in healthcare quality and patient safety.
• Master’s degree in healthcare, nursing, quality, or business preferred.
• Advanced training in Quality preferred.
• Licensure in the state of placement required; Compact Licensure preferred with the ability to obtain licensure in other states as needed.

Skills

• Data analysis and statistical background.
• Understanding of clinical information, organizational behavior, and group dynamics.
• Proficiency in computerized analyses and software tools (data management, word processing, presentation).
• Strong project management skills.
