Interim VP of Finance

Orange County, CA (Hybrid)Contract Engagement 3-4 monthsW2 Only | No C2C Arrangements We are partnering with a global organization seeking an experienced Interim VP of Finance or Director of FP&A-level consultant to serve as a strategic finance leader during a critical transformation period. This individual will act as a key partner to executive leadership, helping improve financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and operational efficiency across a complex international business.This is a highly visible role for a hands-on finance professional who can quickly assess existing processes, implement best practices, elevate team performance, and provide executive-level financial insights. Key Responsibilities Partner directly with executive leadership to support strategic financial planning and decision-makingDevelop sophisticated financial models, forecasting tools, and executive reporting packagesEvaluate and optimize budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processesImprove reporting accuracy, timeliness, and overall finance department effectivenessEstablish and document scalable policies, procedures, and best practicesMentor and develop finance team members while driving accountability and performance improvementLead financial analysis related to business performance, profitability, and growth initiativesIdentify process gaps and implement solutions that improve operational efficiencyPartner with accounting and finance teams to strengthen reporting, planning, and controlsSupport leadership with ad hoc analyses, presentations, and strategic initiatives Required Qualifications 10+ years of progressive finance, FP&A, or corporate finance experiencePrior experience at the Director of FP&A, VP of Finance, or equivalent leadership levelStrong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and business planning expertiseInternational business experience requiredForeign currency (FX) and multi-currency reporting experience requiredExperience supporting global entities and complex organizational structuresAdvanced Excel and financial analysis skillsStrong executive presence with the ability to influence and advise senior leadershipProven track record of improving finance processes, reporting accuracy, and operational effectiveness Preferred Qualifications Experience with other enterprise FP&A and consolidation platformsExperience leading finance transformation, process improvement, or performance optimization initiativesBackground supporting multinational organizations with multiple legal entities What We're Looking For A strategic finance leader who is also willing to be hands-onSomeone who can quickly assess challenges and implement practical solutionsA mentor capable of elevating team capabilities and improving overall department performanceA trusted business partner who can provide actionable insights to executive leadershipA consultant who thrives in fast-paced environments and can deliver results quickly Why Consider This Opportunity?
