Interim Senior Accountant
About the role
Our team at BrainWorks is actively working with a reputable engineering firm in the Denver market to fill an Interim Senior Accountant position. The role will train with the outgoing Senior Accountant and support the team during an ongoing transition period. Requirements
- 5+ years GL accounting experience
- Experience with external audits, GAAP, month-end close and process documentation
- Proficiency in AR processes, specifically reconciliation between CRM and NetSuite
- Experience maintaining daily bank reconciliations and monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Ability to handle payroll processing for 75 W-2 employees and 300-400 1099 contractors
- Understanding of how these processes impact the balance sheet
- Strong Excel skills, including XLOOKUPs
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with a PE-backed engineering firm
- Experience with NetSuite, Rippling, Tipalti, and/or Quickbase
