Interim Procurement-Purchasing Manager

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily procurement and purchasing activities across multiple business functions.
  • Lead supplier selection, contract review, and vendor relationship management efforts.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify purchasing needs and support operational objectives.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure service, quality, and delivery expectations are met.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and approval workflows.
  • Analyze spending trends and provide reporting to support business decision-making.
  • Auxiliary with budgeting and expense management related to purchasing activities.
  • Ensure purchasing activities comply with organizational policies and applicable regulations.
  • Serve as a key resource for procurement-related questions and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, sourcing activities, and contract negotiations.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Experience working within a regulated industry environment is preferred.
