Responsibilities
- Manage daily procurement and purchasing activities across multiple business functions.
- Lead supplier selection, contract review, and vendor relationship management efforts.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to identify purchasing needs and support operational objectives.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure service, quality, and delivery expectations are met.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and approval workflows.
- Analyze spending trends and provide reporting to support business decision-making.
- Auxiliary with budgeting and expense management related to purchasing activities.
- Ensure purchasing activities comply with organizational policies and applicable regulations.
- Serve as a key resource for procurement-related questions and initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
- Experience managing vendor relationships, sourcing activities, and contract negotiations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Experience working within a regulated industry environment is preferred.
