Interim Payroll & Benefits Specialist

About the role

As the Interim Payroll Specialist, you'll provide payroll processing and benefits support within Paylocity during a temporary period, ensuring compliance and seamless operations. You'll collaborate with internal teams and vendors to maintain accuracy and support employees to make a greater impact on business as a whole.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state payroll accurately using Paylocity
• Audit payroll data and ensure compliance
• Support benefits administration and employee inquiries as needed
• Maintain records and documentation

Requirements

• 2-3 years payroll experience, preferably multi-state
• Knowledge of payroll systems (Paylocity) required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPA certification preferred

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with HRIS systems
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
