Interim Manager, RN, CVOR

Qualifications

• RN with New York License
• Prior CVOR or OR experience
• Prior CVOR or OR Manager experience
• Non-Benefited position
• Mon-Fri schedule, no weekends

Requirements

• Graduation from a recognized program in professional nursing
• Current New York State license
• Baccalaureate in nursing required
• 3 years of relevant nursing experience with documented leadership ability
• Certification requirements: BLS, ACLS, NRP & C-EFM

Skills

Mental/Visual/Physical Demands: Must be able to stand, sit and walk for long periods of time. Manual dexterity sufficient to manipulate patient care devices and a personal computer, and visual/auditory acuity adequate to perform observation and therapeutic care.

Patient Sensitivity: Requires supervision of staff who provide care to patients.

Education Requirements: Graduation from a recognized program in professional nursing and a current New York State license.

Technical Knowledge: Broad base of knowledge related clinical specialization, human resource management, fiscal management, customer relations and performance improvement techniques.

Problem-solving: Responsible and authorized for decision making with the area of accountability. Works with many internal and external customers to problem solve.

Internal/External Contacts: Expected to standardize and develop policies for areas of responsibility; a moderate degree of formal and informal marketing is involved with public presentations as needed.

Planning: Highly responsible position impacting patient outcomes, staff effectiveness, customer relations, fiscal outcomes and overall reputation and marketability of services under their direction.
