About the role
The Interim Manager, Peer to Peer Fundraising (Leave Coverage) is responsible for managing Doctors Without Borders' community fundraising programs. This includes overseeing peer-to-peer campaigns, Facebook fundraising, supporter engagement, fundraising platforms, rapid response fundraising support, and related program operations to meet annual revenue targets.
Responsibilities
- Pursue strategic opportunities in coherence with MSF-USA's strategy to identify and develop new audience segments or donors for the organization's mission.
- Build trust and loyalty with potential and existing donors through regular updates and long-term relationships. Develop and deliver the donor engagement strategy.
- Secure reliable, sustainable, and efficient resources in alignment with MSF-USA commitments.
- Drive awareness and consideration through brand positioning based on the brand strategy and implement brand plans.
- Deploy and champion the latest technological systems and capabilities to push the boundaries of what Development can produce for its donors.
- Lead a significant channel, product, or service within the larger marketing program, managing planning, delivery, or both.
- Manage the development and execution of fundraising events, fostering relationships with diverse content creators and fundraisers to align their interests with organizational goals; manage post-event reports and analysis to measure success.
- Plan and deliver stakeholder engagement activities to develop effective project working relationships and ensure stakeholder needs and concerns are identified and met.
- Manage a portfolio of projects while reporting to senior colleagues.
- Manage the development and delivery of innovative, DEI-driven marketing communications and storytelling in a variety of media to increase engagement and revenue.
- Prepare and coordinate the completion of various data and analytics reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in community fundraising, peer-to-peer fundraising, digital fundraising, nonprofit marketing, supporter engagement, or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with fundraising, community engagement, and supporter platforms such as DonorDrive, GoodUnited, Facebook Fundraising, Tiltify, Salesforce, or similar tools.
- Minimum 2 years experience working with CRM and marketing technology platforms, including Salesforce and related fundraising systems.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing fundraising campaigns, supporter engagement programs, community fundraising initiatives, or fundraising events from planning through execution and reporting.
- Proven advanced project management skills, including producing project timelines, closeout analytics reports and narrative documents.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to time-sensitive fundraising opportunities, including emergency and rapid response fundraising efforts.
- Ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary range of $88,822 - $133,233 annually, in alignment with MSF USA's compensation framework. New hires are generally offered between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on relevant experience, skills, and internal equity.
Schedule
This role is hybrid, with in-office days on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, based in New York, NY.
