About the role
The Interim Chief Operating Officer (COO)/Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) will provide executive leadership and oversight for hospital-wide operations, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, efficient, and financially responsible healthcare services. This leader will partner with executive, clinical, and medical staff leadership to advance strategic priorities, strengthen operational performance, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Lead compliance, regulatory, accreditation, and privacy initiatives while maintaining continuous survey readiness and adherence to applicable laws, standards, and organizational policies. The Interim COO/CCO will champion a culture of safety, accountability, and high reliability by advancing quality initiatives, encouraging employee engagement, and identifying opportunities to improve patient and workforce outcomes. Oversee financial performance, staffing strategies, operational efficiency, and leadership effectiveness while supporting a positive organizational culture and sustainable long-term success. Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required; BSN is preferred.
- Active CA RN license is required.
- A minimum of five years of relative experience is required.
- LTAC and/or Critical Care experience is strongly preferred.
Pay
Compensation range: $180,000 to $190,000 annually. The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation.
