Interim HR Transformation Lead
We are recruiting exclusively on behalf of our client for an experienced HR Transformation Lead to join their organisation during a significant period of change and growth. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position.
About the role
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior HR professional with a proven track record of delivering transformation programmes, implementing new operating models, and driving organisational change. The strategic direction is already defined; the focus of this role is ensuring successful delivery, implementation, and embedding of key initiatives across the business. You will play a key role in modernising HR operations, improving service delivery, and supporting the organisation through a programme of change.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of a large-scale HR transformation programme.
- Embed and enhance a business partnering approach across the HR function.
- Design and implement an HR shared services model, including processes, systems, and operating frameworks.
- Drive organisational design and change initiatives.
- Support the transformation of recruitment and talent acquisition processes.
- Manage multiple transformation and integration projects simultaneously.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor progress against agreed objectives and provide regular updates to leadership teams.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across people processes and systems.
- Support the delivery of change management and organisational development initiatives.
Requirements
- Significant experience leading HR transformation, organisational change, or operating model programmes.
- Experience building or implementing shared services functions.
- Strong knowledge of HR business partnering models and organisational design.
- A track record of delivering successful change within fast-paced and evolving environments.
- Strong employee relations and change management expertise.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior leadership level.
- A pragmatic, delivery-focused approach and the ability to quickly build credibility.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent HR leadership experience.
Please note the successful candidate will need to be able to start a new role on short/immediate notice.
Pay
Up to £85,000, dependent on experience.
Schedule
Hybrid working in Mid Kent.
