Program: Washington County Senior Housing Program (Contract funded until June 2027, continuation variable)

Sector: Housing and Supportive Services

Location: GMEC office, 4915 SW Griffith Drive Suite 216, Beaverton, OR 97005 (Hybrid schedule: in office 3 days per week)

Status: Interim position for 12 weeks, 1.0 FTE, on-call/casual without benefits

About the Role

IRCO Washington County Supportive Housing Services works to provide the highest quality of housing case management services to participants currently experiencing homelessness and housing instability and who are eligible for supportive housing funded through the Metro Supportive Housing Program in Washington County.

This position is both site-based and field-based. The Interim Supportive Housing Case Manager will perform basic tasks to support other case managers, including contacting clients, completing written and electronic forms, and a variety of other duties.

Responsibilities

  • Work effectively with other supportive case managers, establish professional relationships, and work as a team
  • Establish a working professional relationship with participants
  • Conduct assessments, contact participants, and assist with office duties
  • Meet multiple, including conflicting, deadlines
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Work flexible hours to meet the availability of clients
  • Timely input of client service transactions and client expense documents
  • Occasionally orient and/or train new employees or volunteers

Requirements

  • Associate degree in human services or related field and minimum of 2 years of experience providing services related to a similar population or Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field and minimum of 1 year of experience providing services related to similar populations
  • Valid Oregon driver’s license, verification of car insurance, and use of a vehicle during work hours
  • Must speak English; a second language is preferred

Physical, Mental, & Environmental Requirements

  • Physical: Position requires little physical effort such as lifting or carrying, but allows for movement needed to complete work tasks
  • Mental: Regular variation in tasks; must decide which tasks to complete and the order of completion
  • Environment: Well-protected work environment with virtually no hazards or obstacles; minimal personal risk or hazard; stable, well-managed, and comfortable conditions

Pay

Starting at $23.37 per hour based on experience

Schedule

Hybrid schedule: in office 3 days per week. The work schedule is stable and does not fluctuate.
