Interim FP&A Manager - Capital Planning

Location: Remote (US Only)

Duration: 2-3 months (potential for extension) • Start date: August 17 or ASAP

About the role

Interim FP&A Manager with a focus on Capital Planning & Budgeting for a best-in-class infrastructure development company in the data-center industry. This role supports the team during an upcoming employee leave.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain the capital plan/budget for a $1B+ portfolio
• Work with internal stakeholders and business units to coordinate monthly/quarterly capital planning initiatives and budget reviews
• Maintain the budget across multiple cost categories tied to 25+ active construction/development projects
• Reconcile quarter-over-quarter budget variances and perform budget vs. actual variance analysis with department leaders
• Create executive- and board-level presentation materials in PowerPoint

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of progressive finance experience
• 2+ years of experience creating executive/board-level presentations using Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience owning a Capital Planning budget of $500M+
• Cross-functional experience working directly with department leaders to coordinate capital planning budgets & analysis
• Advanced Excel skills: SumIF, Indexing, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and executive-level reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or CPA
• Experience in Construction, Infrastructure, or Real Estate Development
• Experience with Microsoft Business Central and/or Smartsheet
• Experience working with Data Center development

Pay

~$65/hour (depending on experience)
