Interim Finance Executive
About the role
We’re seeking an executive level Finance professional to support the Value Added Services (VAS) organization in the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region by partnering with business leaders in delivering financial planning, business performance management, and investment insights that drive strategic growth.
Responsibilities
Partner with VAS leadership to lead budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and long-range planning.
Deliver end-to-end financial analysis on revenue, headcount, investments, and operating expenses; identify drivers, risks, and opportunities.
Evaluate investment decisions and commercial initiatives, providing clear business recommendations.
Monitor performance through variance analysis, scenario modeling, and ROI assessments.
Prepare executive-ready reporting packages, dashboards, and presentations translating complex financials into insights.
Strengthen controllership to ensure compliance, accurate reporting, and audit readiness.
Partner cross-functionally to ensure quality in billing, revenue recognition, and operational processes.
Drive continuous improvement, automation, and standardization of finance processes and reporting.
Align stakeholders on KPI definitions and reporting logic for consistency and transparency.
Promote financial acumen across the organization, enabling better decision-making.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics (advanced degree a plus).
Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese, REQUIRED.
7+ years progressive leadership experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or consulting roles.
Proven ability in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and influencing business strategies.
Advanced financial modeling and data analysis skills; strong command of Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with ERP/financial systems (e.g., Hyperion, TM1) preferred.
Ability to manage complexity in a global, matrixed environment, balancing detail orientation with strategic insights.
Exceptional communication skills: distilling complex financials into clear business narratives for executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
