Interim Director, Operating Room

About the role

The Interim Director, Operating Room, is needed to lead surgical services operations and strengthen team culture throughout eight ORs. Key responsibilities include improving team relations, fostering a culture of safety and accountability, supporting staff through visible leadership and rounding.

Responsibilities

• Oversee PAT, perioperative services, PACU, same-day surgery, OR, SPD, cath lab, EKG, and echo.
• Improve team relations.
• Foster a culture of safety and accountability.
• Support staff through visible leadership and rounding.

Requirements

• Strong operating room leadership experience.
• Prominent ability to build trust with staff and physicians.
• Expertise in managing complex surgical services environments.
• Highly organized, patient-focused, and adaptable.
• Excellent communication skills.

Compensation Details

• Compensation Range: $170,000 to $175,000 annually.
• The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation.
• Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
