About the role
This is an interim contract position for a Director of Nursing (DON/DNS) in Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates superb leadership qualities and leads by example.
- Assures the provision of high-quality nursing and clinical services.
- Directs, coordinates, and evaluates nursing care and services.
- Maintains consistent, quality care.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse license.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current MA license in good standing, required.
- Current CPR certification and ICP certification.
- At least five years’ experience in long-term care setting, with 3-5 years as Director of Nursing.
- Strong knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
