Interim Dietitian Director

Position Summary

Plans, directs and provides effective leadership of the clinical nutrition programs and staff providing for nutrition screening, assessment, monitoring and education according to established departmental and System policies/protocols. Provides guidance and direction to other nutrition services staff in all areas related to clinical nutrition care.

Position Requirements

• Minimum Qualifications:
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics or related field.
  • Holds RD credential and maintains ongoing registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the American Dietetic Association (ADA).
  • Provides verification of registration annually. Also maintains current state licensure, as required by occupational licensing authority in state of practice.
• Knowledge and skills of clinical nutritional care as would typically be acquired in four or more years of nutrition and dietetics. Leadership skills are required to effectively organize, lead and manage staff and resources.
• Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or business administration preferred. Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
