Interim CFO

Key Responsibilities

• Oversight of financial operations and resolution of accounting backlogs
• Leadership of federal grant compliance, reimbursement processes, and funding requirements
• Guidance on audit preparation and support for nonprofit audit activities
• Development and support of FY2027 budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
• Collaboration with executive leadership and the Board on financial reporting and strategic decision-making
• Mentorship and support of the finance team while prioritizing workload and deliverables

Qualifications

• CFO or senior finance leadership experience within a nonprofit environment
• Strong expertise in federal grants, compliance, and funding regulations
• Extensive knowledge of nonprofit audits and financial reporting requirements
• Experience presenting financial results, forecasts, and recommendations to executive leadership and boards
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with Sage Intacct and Bill.com, a plus
