About the role

Serves as Chief, Architect-Engineer (A-E) Support Section, responsible for work related to negotiations of A-E contracts and subsequent contract modifications.

Responsibilities

• Negotiates A-E contracts and contract modifications.
• Manages the A-E Support Section, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
• May offer recruitment incentives, including student loan repayment, to highly qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
• At least 10 years of progressively responsible professional experience in A-E contracting.
• Experience in contract negotiation and management.
• Knowledge of relevant federal regulations and policies.

Skills

• Strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
