Position Duties/Responsibilities
- Sustain the weapon system, associated components, and related support systems.
- Provide objectively based engineering information with a focus on technical analysis, engineering investigations, economic analysis, and support services.
- Oversee development or evaluation of engineering and logistics documents, engineering change proposals, technical directives, inspection/maintenance requirements, repairs and replacement of the platform's systems and components.
- Oversee the development and management of products and services required to sustain economic operation and ensure airworthiness.
- Serve as the technical engineering authority for the FST assigned workload performed by the incumbent as well as subordinates.
- Cook up critical tasks such as mishaps, engineering investigations, hazard assessments, configuration management, and airworthiness/safety assessments.
