Responsibilities
- Aid in the layout of building items, focusing on structural, civil, process, and architectural components.
- Support the procurement of construction materials and monitor delivery schedules.
- Assist in scheduling and executing construction activities, including managing subcontractor performance.
- Develop bid lists, review bids, and evaluate proposals under the guidance of the Site Manager.
- Maintain high safety and QA/QC standards, conduct safety meetings, and manage safety programs.
- Generate and distribute meeting agendas and minutes from various site meetings.
- Communicate with city officials, OSHA, and inspectors to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Ensure accurate reporting and documentation of project progress and inspections.
- Address and escalate safety incidents as necessary.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or a minimum of 2 years of related construction experience.
- At least 4+ years of relevant construction experience, or a combination of education and experience, may substitute for the degree requirement.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- A strong work ethic, energetic, self-motivated, and capable of working in a team environment.
- Ability to travel to various project sites throughout the United States, including international locations, as required.
