Field Engineer

Responsibilities

• Aid in the layout of building items, focusing on structural, civil, process, and architectural components.
• Support the procurement of construction materials and monitor delivery schedules.
• Assist in scheduling and executing construction activities, including managing subcontractor performance.
• Develop bid lists, review bids, and evaluate proposals under the guidance of the Site Manager.
• Maintain high safety and QA/QC standards, conduct safety meetings, and manage safety programs.
• Generate and distribute meeting agendas and minutes from various site meetings.
• Communicate with city officials, OSHA, and inspectors to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Ensure accurate reporting and documentation of project progress and inspections.
• Address and escalate safety incidents as necessary.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or a minimum of 2 years of related construction experience.
• At least 4+ years of relevant construction experience, or a combination of education and experience, may substitute for the degree requirement.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• A strong work ethic, energetic, self-motivated, and capable of working in a team environment.
• Ability to travel to various project sites throughout the United States, including international locations, as required.
