INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER/ARCHITECT (PROJECT MANAGER)
for section headings: e.g., Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We have Duties -> map to Responsibilities? The instruction: use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we should use those exact headings if content matches. Duties -> Responsibilities. Qualifications -> Requirements? Actually Qualifications is a heading itself. So we can have Qualifications
. Also Education could be part of Qualifications but we can keep as part of same section. Additional Information maybe not a standard heading; we could either omit or maybe treat as Benefits? But it's not benefits. Better to omit if not matching allowed headings. However we must preserve ALL substantive information; we cannot drop content. So we need to include Additional Information somewhere. Could we put it under a Additional Information
? The instruction says use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It gives examples but not exclusive? It says "use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." Likely they expect only those headings. But we need to preserve all substantive info; we could incorporate Additional Information into existing sections like Responsibilities or Qualifications if appropriate. Additional Information includes: position covered by DoD Priority Placement Program, several vacancies may be filled, tentative offer rescinded if fails pre-employment, Federal annuitant info, Veteran's preference, Navy/Marine Corps team offers..., Department of the Navy provides competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits, extensive professional development..., Civilian careers..., You will serve as an INTERDISCIPLINARY GENERAL ENGINEER/ARCHITECT (Project Manager) in the PLANNING, DESIGN, AND CONSTRUCTION (PDC) DIRECTORATE of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST.
Some of that could be considered Benefits (competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits, professional development). Also role description (You will serve as...). Could fit under Responsibilities? Actually that's more about the position. Could be a separate section like "About the role". The instruction includes About the role as example heading. So we could use About the role
for that descriptive paragraph. Benefits: competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits, extensive professional development and training. Also maybe Pay? Not specific salary numbers, so we should not create Pay section because not stated. Schedule not stated. Skills not explicit.
Thus we will have sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements (or Qualifications?), Benefits. But we need to follow instruction: use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we can choose which headings to use based on content. We have content for About the role (position description), Responsibilities (duties), Requirements (qualifications), Benefits (competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits, professional development). We'll not include Skills, Pay, Schedule.
We must preserve all substantive info. Let's extract:
About the role: "You will serve as an INTERDISCIPLINARY GENERAL ENGINEER/ARCHITECT (Project Manager) in the PLANNING, DESIGN, AND CONSTRUCTION (PDC) DIRECTORATE of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST." Also maybe "The Navy and Marine Corps team offers innovative, exciting and meaningful work linking military and civilian talents to achieve our mission and safeguard our freedoms." and "Department of the Navy provides competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits, and extensive professional development and training." and "Civilian careers-where purpose and patriotism unite!" That's more about benefits and role. Could split.
