About the role

Piper Companies is seeking an Interdisciplinary Engineer to join a government integrator in Juneau, AK. The position includes a signing bonus and relocation assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide civil engineering services in support of Coast Guard initiatives
• Conduct comprehensive technical reviews of professional studies, reports and analysis
• Provide technical reviews and review comments for project designs, including Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build efforts
• Provide technical responses for A/E and contractor requests for information and coordinate

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in civil, electrical, mechanical, or structural engineering field and a BA/BS degree in a related field
• Experience in National Codes and Mechanical Engineering sub-disciplines is required
• Licensed Professional Engineer or other industry‑standard professional license related to the position is highly desirable
• Strong experience in AutoCAD is required
• Candidate must be able to obtain a Public Trust after starting
• Candidate must relocate to Juneau, AK

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $120,000 – $160,000+ (based on experience).
