Interconnect Solutions Architect

About the role

Molex is expanding its Copper Solutions Business Unit and seeks an Interconnect Solutions Architect to lead the development of high-speed interconnect solutions for various industries. The ideal candidate will collaborate with global sales teams, engage with customers, and contribute to the strategic direction of the business.

Responsibilities

• Molex as a preferred design partner in high-speed IO connectivity solutions
• Collaborate with global sales teams to promote Molex’s high-speed IO solutions
• Identify and develop new product development opportunities
• Understand the larger market ecosystem and deliver tailored solutions
• Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to align customer needs with Molex’s product roadmap
• Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and market dynamics
• Represent Molex at trade shows, conferences, and technical events

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Proven experience in hardware or systems engineering, FAE, or account management
• Experience working in a global, cross-functional environment
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for customer site visits

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering
• Knowledge of high-speed interconnects, connectors, and assemblies
• Experience developing value propositions and technical solutions for customers
• Familiarity with applications in data centers (compute and networking)
• Background in product management or technical marketing

Pay

$150,000 - $225,000 per year
