Intercompany Accounting Support

About the role

Korn Ferry intercompanyim is partnering with a leading manufacturing organization to identify an experienced intercompanyim Accounting Manager. This engagement offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact by supporting core accounting operations while driving process improvements within a complex, multi-site manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities.
• Perform general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Lead the review and cleanup of intercompany-company accounting transactions.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reduce manual effort.
• Partner with finance teams across multiple locations to enhance close and reporting processes.
• Aid in accounting projects focused on standardization and operational efficiency.
• Work within a multi-ERP environment to improve consistency and accuracy of financial data.
• Provide hands-on accounting support while driving continuous process improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience performing at an Accounting Manager level.
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• Strong intercompany-company accounting experience.
• Demonstrated success improving accounting processes and workflows.
• Experience supporting month-end close and general accounting functions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work onsite 2-3 days per week in either Indianapolis or Lafayette, Indiana.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP and/or AS400.
• Experience working in a multi-site manufacturing environment.
• Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
