Intercollegiate Athletics Equipment Specialist

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set-up football facilities and equipment.
• Issue, receive, care for and disseminate practice and competition uniforms and equipment for the football team.
• Assist with or perform routine fitting and maintenance of the football athletic equipment.
• Move heavy travel cases, bags, and additional equipment as needed.
• Work some nights and weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years (36 months) of experience in the repair and maintenance of athletic equipment and uniforms at the high school or college level.
• Valid State of Illinois driver's license, depending on the type of vehicle(s) to be operated.

• Pre-graduation applicants are welcome to apply.
• The degree must be conferred at the time of application, unless the applicant is in the final semester of a degree program; if so, the degree must be conferred at the time of appointment.
• The degree must be conferred from a regionally accredited degree-granting institution of higher education (or equivalent from an international accrediting body).
