Equipment Specialist
Position Summary
As the Equipment Sales Specialist, you are responsible for driving equipment, technical and Benco services sales by partnering with regional teammates to ensure customer satisfaction; soliciting new business through personal efforts and referrals from territory representatives; enhancing personal skills in product and services focus areas; developing healthy/productive working relationships with customers, vendors and Benco teammates; serving as a consultant in helping dentists grow their practices; leading assigned territory representatives to accomplish mutual sales goals.

Build and nurture strong relationships with existing customers by understanding their needs and providing exceptional service and support
Lead equipment sales process by collaborating with assigned territory representatives to prospect for business and close sales; this includes identifying, targeting, and engaging with new potential customers to expand customer base
Facilitate customer satisfaction within our equipment sales process – including preparing and presenting quotes, documenting signed agreements, collecting deposits, and attending equipment installations
Partner with internal designers to offer office design services to prospective customers, evaluate plans and blueprints, and take measurements of facilities
Develop an in-depth understanding of equipment offerings in order to provide accurate and detailed information to customers; stay updated on dental industry trends, market dynamics, equipment, digital imaging, service, and design offerings
Communicate effectively with regional teammates (territory representatives, service, and inside support) to achieve customer goals and solve customer or internal issues
Utilize technology and data tools for effective sales calls, opportunities, activity, presentations, publications, and efficient scheduling/follow-up
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience
Possess a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and an acceptable driving record
Ability to travel in assigned territory daily, as required for customers, vendors and Benco teammates, business and group meetings, and Customer Experience Trips as well as limited overnight travel
Must live within assigned work territory

This position is a field-based / territory-based / virtually- based / remote-based position that does not require consistently reporting to a physical Benco location.
