Intensive Support Professional

About the role

Intensive Residential Services Home (IRSH) is launching a new program in Burlington, IA, offering a short-term, high-impact service designed to help individuals stabilize and reintegrate into their communities.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with medication and appointment compliance
• Aid in crisis planning, behavior management, and skill-building
• Document progress and follow Person Centered Service Plans (PCSPs)
• Work collaboratively with a team in a structured, supportive environment
• Promote safety, stability, and independence for each individual

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of experience in mental and/or behavioral health services
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Suite, database systems)
• Ability to lift 40+ lbs
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
• Completion of all required training and ongoing competency requirements
