Intensive Outpatient Facilitator

About the role

The Intensive Outpatient IOP Facilitator will perform assessments, facilitate IOP group sessions, and provide individual, family, and weekly programming using industry recognized therapeutic modalities and interventions. This position also involves performing intake screenings and assessments, managing administrative tasks such as psychosocial assessments and admission documentation, and presenting cases at the weekly treatment team.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and facilitate IOP group sessions
• Provide individual, family, and weekly programming
• Perform intake screenings and assessments
• Manage administrative tasks including psychosocial assessments and admission documentation
• Present cases at the weekly treatment team
• Participate in clinical supervision as scheduled
• Develop a system for tracking current census, scheduling, and assessments of potential admissions
• Maintain current CPR certification, TB testing, and TB Screening Certification
• Assist with business development and marketing functions as needed

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health-related field with at least two (2) years of professional experience working with individuals experiencing co-occurring disorders, mental health, and substance use disorders
• Specialized training to work with individuals who have co-occurring disorders
• Master’s degree or on track for LADAC with a Bachelor’s degree in human services discipline (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Criminal Justice)
• Two (2) years’ experience working in addictive/co-occurring disorders or three (3) years’ experience in addictive/co-occurring disorders and actively in the process of licensure as an alcohol and drug abuse counselor
• Deep understanding of substance-use disorders, mental illnesses, implications of physical and sexual abuse, suicide prevention, human development, and cultural diversity
• Knowledge in and comfortable working with co-occurring disorders

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in human services or related field
• Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP), Resident (LMHP-R), Resident in Psychology (LMHP-RP), or Supervisee in Social Work (LMHP-S)
