About the role
The Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Co-facilitator will assist the IOP Facilitator and/or the IOP Coordinator in performing intake screening and assessments, co-facilitating IOP groups, conducting individual and family sessions, and organizing weekly family education programs.
Responsibilities
- Assist with intake screening and assessments, unless assigned to central intake staff.
- Perform psychoeducational programming including didactic, audio-visual, and other teaching methods appropriate for this level of care.
- Facilitate the clinical group process using recognized therapeutic modalities and interventions.
- Conduct individual and family sessions as needed.
- Organize and present weekly family education and program sessions.
- Participate in the clinical supervision and treatment team meetings as scheduled.
- Maintain current CPR certification and TB testing and screening certification as required by the state.
- Support business development activities as assigned by the IOP Coordinator or IOP Facilitator.
- Perform administrative support tasks as directed.
Requirements
- Tennessee: Bachelor’s degree in a related field with one year of relevant experience in working with addictive/co-occurring disorders, or a combination of education and experience equivalent to this requirement.
- Virginia: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, one year of relevant experience in working with addictive/co-occurring disorders, and current CSAC certification approved by the Virginia Board of Counseling.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must maintain current CPR certification and TB testing and screening certification as required by the state.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
