Intensive Care Coordinator Internship - Martha's Vineyard
About the role
JRI’s Community Based Services division provides care to ensure that families and their children with significant behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs obtain the services necessary for success in the home, school, and community. We are looking for interns working in their 2nd year of their clinical Master's degree program or Bachelor's level students interested in pursuing community based work to join our Community Service Agency (CSA) team of Cape Cod.
Responsibilities
- Support the mission of providing services to families and children with significant behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs.
- Utilize strength-based and needs-driven choices, offering a team-based approach collaboration with the people we work with that is grounded in individualized services and the use of evidence-based practices.
- Convey your passion for helping others by supporting JRI’s mission.
Requirements
- Minimum enrolled and working towards a Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in the mental health field, social work, or psychology.
- Clinical interest in working with children/adolescents is required and familiarity with trauma informed models of treatment preferred.
- Must live on Martha's Vineyard.
- Good written and oral communication skills are necessary.
