Pharmacist Intern

Overview

Consonus Pharmacy in Nebraska is hiring a Pharmacist Intern to join their team. The position offers flexible hours after an initial orientation and training period. Consonus Pharmacy specializes in long-term care for Nursing Home patients and their caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently enter new or refill orders
• Handle incoming fax and telephone communication
• Deliver outstanding customer service and patient care
• Properly handle order exceptions such as refill to soon, invalid orders, etc.
• Resolve common pharmacy problems quickly and efficiently
• Communicate effectively to leadership and to peers
• Achieve or exceed productivity standards in a fast-paced environment
• Perform pharmacist intern duties such as taking telephone orders and providing clinical information under the direction of a licensed Pharmacist

Qualifications

• Currently in a School of Pharmacy (P1, P2, or P3) program. Pre-pharmacy students may be considered.
• Intern license required
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Outstanding telephone communication skills
