Intelligence Analyst Supervisory

About the role

Full-time Intelligence Specialist (Supervisory), GG-0132-13, located at the 91st Cyberspace Operations Squadron, Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX. This is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position under Title 10, U.S.C. §1601, Chapter 83 and DoD Instruction 1400.25-V2007.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a multi-source intelligence analyst conducting complex technical analysis and production of information from one or more intelligence sources to support customer requirements.
• Provide and enable integrated intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities to collect, process, exploit, and disseminate (PED) accurate and timely information for battlespace awareness.
• Support combatant commanders and other customers in planning and conducting operations.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Designated drug testing position.
• Depending on selection, serve a 1-year probationary period or a 2-year trial period.
• Position may close at any time.

Qualifications

• An advanced intelligence-related or professional/scientific degree is desirable.
• Knowledge of the full range of intelligence research and collection methods, techniques, and practices to use multi-source intelligence information systems to capture data for recommendations, intelligence capabilities, threat assessments, policy interpretation, and resource commitment.
• Knowledge of advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods to produce detailed analyses of complex information from multiple sources, including database manipulation.
• Knowledge of the national intelligence community, Joint, DoD structure, organizations, mission/functions, interrelationships, and operations.
• Skill in conducting unbiased complex research, identifying appropriate systems and data sources, and producing collection requirement assessments that answer specific tasks to link and leverage capabilities in support of consumers, customers, and clients.

Pay

Salary Range (General): $108,000 – $122,000.
