Responsibilities
- Conduct screening and vetting of visa applicants for technology transfer, counterintelligence, and proliferation concerns
- Identify potential risks and share analytical leads with partner agencies
- Prepare and present “deep dive” reports on persons, entities, and technologies of interest
- Analyze disparate data sources to draw informed conclusions
- Support intelligence investigations and threat assessments
- Maintain detailed records of findings and ensure compliance with security protocols
- Collaborate with team members to develop intelligence products and briefings
- Stay current on developments in threat analysis, sanctions, and foreign language proficiency as applicable
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 2 years of experience in research, intelligence, or threat analysis
- Current active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain SCI
- Experience in screening and vetting; intelligence or investigations; counter-proliferation; technology transfer; OSINT; financial investigations/analysis; classified research; development of intelligence products and briefings; network analysis
- Familiarity with visa lifecycle processes
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to draw conclusions from disparate data
- Attention to detail and analytical rigor
- Experience with sanctions and foreign language proficiency is a plus
Qualifications
Education Requirements: A bachelor’s degree is required for this role. Candidates with relevant experience in research, intelligence, or threat analysis may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Clearance Requirements: This role requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
Work Arrangement: This is an on-site position. The role requires a minimum of four days per week onsite at either NTC in Sterling, VA, or NSD in Tyson’s Corner, VA.
