About the role

Husch Blackwell LLP is a national law firm with multiple locations across the United States, dedicated to our clients and the industries they serve. We have an immediate opening for an Intellectual Property Senior Counsel with a minimum of eight years of experience preferred. We will consider candidates for any of our offices including our virtual office, The Link.

Requirements

• Minimum of eight years of experience preferred
• Degree in Computer Software, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field of study
• Active bar license corresponding to the state in which they reside, or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible
• Excellent academic credentials
• Commitment to the community
• Superior interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated record of working well under pressure
• Exceptional judgment
• Ability to effectively handle multiple projects
• Ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action

Responsibilities

• Work primarily with attorneys in our Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit

Pay

Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position in California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington, D.C. is $190,000 to $240,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salaries in all other markets will vary depending on market data.
