Intellectual Property Senior Counsel

About the role

Husch Blackwell LLP, a national law firm with multiple locations across the United States, has an immediate opening for an Intellectual Property Senior Counsel. This role is open in any of our offices, including our virtual office, The Link. The position will primarily collaborate with attorneys in our Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit and may offer a flexible billable-hour requirement.

Requirements

• Minimum of eight years of experience in intellectual property law (preferred).
• Degree in Computer Software, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field of study.
• Active bar license corresponding to the state of residence, or commitment to obtain one as soon as possible.
• Excellent academic credentials and superior interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple projects, and articulate legal strategies.
• Proactive, dynamic, and entrepreneurial mindset with a commitment to community engagement.

Pay

Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position is:

• $190,000 to $240,000 in California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington, D.C., commensurate with qualifications and experience.
• Salaries in all other markets will vary depending on market data.
