Key Responsibilities
- Aid in the development and implementation of agency goals and objectives.
- Engage with County and/or State partners, fostering positive relationships, collaborating on local policy and programmatic developments, and ensuring performance expectations are met.
- Prepare program reports and statistical data.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicator (KPI) plans and allocate resources accordingly to maintain or improve performance.
- Assist with the assessment of referrals to evaluate appropriateness of placements.
- Collaborate with the clinical team regarding the treatment process, including assessment, development of Individual Support Plans, and monthly reports.
- Provide direction to employees to teach people the necessary skills that support increased independence and reduced reliance on formal services.
- Finalize Incident Management Reports and assign staff to carry out corrective action based on investigation findings.
- Maintain an effective, responsible, and productive working relationship with supervisor, peers, and subordinates.
- Facilitate timely and effective communication of relevant information across the division and across services.
- Maintain active visibility and engagement within the division (e.g., visit programs and attend team meetings regularly).
- Engage with and take an active interest in individuals supported, employees, and the division.
- Participate in leadership and management meetings, including adherence to agenda, follow-through of action items, and empowering participants.
- Ensure fiscal responsibility across programs and homes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and five years of progressive experience in human services or a related field.
- Five years of management experience.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to read, understand, and apply written information.
- Ability to successfully complete required background checks and clearances.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle.
