Integration Performance Manager

Major Responsibilities

  • Partners with integration leadership to develop and support complex integration plans throughout the integration lifecycle.
  • Oversees the ongoing management and maintenance of these plans, ensuring plan data accuracy and timely updates.
  • Drives execution with a focus on meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
  • Collaborates with executive leaders in the development and realization of financial and non-financial value creation opportunities.
  • Captures key value metrics and performance data within the integration software, enabling robust integration performance reporting.
  • Builds and sustains strong, collaborative relationships with executive leadership and key stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout the integration lifecycle.
  • Acts as a trusted partner to leadership, proactively managing expectations, facilitating effective communication, and promoting a culture of transparency and engagement.
  • Maintains oversight of the overall health of integration plans, proactively identifying, tracking, and resolving risks and issues as they arise.
  • Effectively manages the mitigation of risks and issues, ensuring minimal impact to integration objectives.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert and internal coach in the department on integration lifecycle methodologies, tools, processes, and software - enabling knowledge transfer and building organizational capability.
  • Independently manages and executes high-touch initiatives and special projects, demonstrating agility, ownership, and accountability.
  • Led interdepartmental initiatives, in collaboration with integration leadership, informed by lessons learned and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for process and operational enhancements and collaborates effectively with peers and leaders to gather input and champion change across the department.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • Typically requires 5 years of experience in program management, integration management, strategy, operational or management consulting.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Master’s Degree preferred in Business, Health Administration or Finance preferred.

Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated knowledge in integration methodologies, full cycle project/program management frameworks, and analytical tools.
  • Demonstrated executive presence and the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics with political acumen.
  • High emotional intelligence with deep understanding of cultural nuances that may impact integration efforts, adept at handling sensitive situations with discretion.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize programs and initiatives based on changing needs, strategic direction, resource capacity, and risk exposure.
  • Proven ability to manage a high number of high priority work streams concurrently.
  • Track record of building trusted partnerships and fostering strategic alignment with individuals and cross-functional teams at all levels or leadership, including executive stakeholders.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with evidence of being a strong team player.
  • Capable of identifying issues and escalating risks and issues appropriately, assessing alternative solutions and engaging leadership in collaborative problem-solving and mitigation strategies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to create impactful documentation, analysis, and presentations.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • This position may require travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions.
  • Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
  • Exposed to a normal office environment.
