About the role

The role of an Integration Manager involves working with Toyota Automated Logistics employees, customers, and suppliers to integrate material handling systems for complex applications. This includes understanding customer goals and objectives and developing smart engineered solutions to meet those goals.

Responsibilities

  • Close coordination with Project Management, Integration Technicians, and Integration Specialists.
  • Managing commissioning and testing efforts on multiple projects and projects with a more complex scope of work.
  • Using technical expertise to guide others in the performance of their duties.
  • Developing commissioning and testing documentation specific to each project.
  • Driving development and execution of agreed upon testing plans in preparation for customer signoff and acceptance.
  • Managing and monitoring defect tracking for projects.
  • Managing schedule and budget for Integration project personnel.
  • Managing installation, start-up, and troubleshooting of equipment supplied by Toyota Automated Logistics and external suppliers.
  • Participating in design reviews for project designs and commissioning drawing packages.
  • Solving problems escalated by other team members.
  • Clear communication with management, engineering, project management, and other team members.
  • Leading the development and implementation of standard practices to ensure quality improvement and cost reduction.
  • Working well with others on Toyota Automated Logistics and customer teams.
  • Solving problems either individually or through collaboration with suppliers, other internal teams, and team members.
  • Leading in reviewing testing documents and tracking of on-time progress to meet go-live schedules.
  • Driving conversations and has active participation in Lessons Learned meetings, providing relevant material for improvements.
  • Communicating with other Toyota Automated Logistics team members effectively.
  • Organizing and leading trainings to certify others in applicable technologies or programs.
  • Identifying new controls, software, or hardware techniques or equipment that will help maintain Toyota Automated Logistics as a leader in the industry.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree and 1 - 3 years of experience in related industry
  • Bachelors degree and 3 - 5 years of experience in related industry
  • Technical Associates degree and 5 - 10 years of experience in related industry
  • Automation Industry experience required
  • Must be eligible to work in the US long-term without the need of sponsorship
