Integration Developer

Responsibilities
- Design and develop interfaces using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus
- Build and manage APIs in Azure API Management, including policies, OAuth2, and versioning
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps with YAML and ARM/Bicep templates
- Use Azure integration services including Power Apps, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and cloud storage (Azure Blob, SFTP)
- Design and develop new integration architecture patterns such as synchronous and asynchronous communication, APIs, and event/message-based integration using modern technologies
- Decide when to use ETL vs. ELT
- Define, manage, and provide updates on integration development plans, project progress, and strategic direction
- Document technical requirements in the interface context
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements, design, and develop integrations
- Think holistically and build integrations as frameworks and reusable assets for broader usage
- Identify, analyze, and resolve data configuration conflicts, inconsistencies, and overlaps
- Understand various SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
- Analyze and improve current system integrations and migration strategies
- Troubleshoot reported issues with existing API/Feeds integrations
- Implement processes and logic to extract, transform, and distribute data across one or more data stores from a wide variety of sources
- Optimize data integration platforms to provide optimal performance under increasing data volumes
- Ensure high quality and optimum performance of data integration systems to meet business solutions
- Establish integration best practices across ERP, CRM, eCommerce, and Data Warehouse platforms
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, conveying subtle or complex messages clearly
Requirements
- 7 years of experience in architecture, design, and development of enterprise-grade integration platforms in Azure
- 5 years of experience with database management systems such as Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server
- BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, and/or extensive work experience
- Strong knowledge of web service technologies: JSON, REST, WSDL, SOAP, SOA, XML, XSLT, and API Management (preferably App Connect Professional Cloud)
- Familiarity with EDI standards (X12, HIPAA, HL7)
- Hands-on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (IIB) or other MQ technologies
- Strong programming skills and/or good experience in the field
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Self-motivated and a good team player
- Willing and able to learn and pick up new technologies and responsibilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrates initiative, thrives in ambiguous situations, and effectively navigates uncertainty to drive priorities forward
- Attendance at Kyocera’s headquarters office in Fairfield, NJ per current work policies is required
Preferred Experience
- Using AI tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.
- Experience with Dynamics CRM, ERP, Concur, ServiceNow, Salesforce API, and LMS
- Integrating BPM automation tools with ERP systems
Pay
The typical pay range for this role is $115,000–$145,000 annually. This range represents the base salary for all positions in this job grade. The actual base salary offer will depend on factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant considerations. This position may also include a discretionary bonus based on performance.
