Integration / CDS Engineer (26-231) E3 / COS-83
About the role
This position is responsible for the development, configuration control, deployment, and testing of specific system configurations with a primary emphasis on Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) integration. The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring seamless CDS implementation, configuration, and maintenance. Travel to remote locations may be required to perform installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Aid software development personnel with the investigation and resolution of issues.
- Create and modify scripts to perform data analysis of message data.
- Troubleshoot test and prototype issues, and develop corresponding procedures and documentation.
- Review and provide feedback on system specifications, development, test, and network documents.
- Automate scripting to configure and maintain remote hosts.
Requirements
- Experience: Generally has 5+ years of related experience.
- Experience with network management and monitoring systems is required, along with an understanding of standard security practices such as STIG compliance.
- Proven network traffic analysis, diagnostic, and troubleshooting experience is necessary.
- Education: A Bachelor of Science in a computer science field or significant equivalent experience is required.
- Certifications: Must possess a DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher prior to the start date. Examples include Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, or SCNA.
- Professional Skills: Must be an effective communicator with writing and presentation skills using office software. The role requires the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently on large field projects.
Qualifications
- Experience with Radiant Mercury is desired.
- Prior C2BMC network experience is a plus.
- Prior experience with Ansible or other automation tools is preferred.
- Experience with GitLab or Maven is desired.
