About the role
Systems Integration Engineer position based in Colorado Springs, CO (Interquest).
Essential Functions
- Integrating lab test suites into our development lab
- Assisting software development personnel with investigating and resolving issues
- Creating configurations to support testing and prototypes of developing systems
- Developing and modifying scripts to analyze input, internal, and output message data
- Troubleshooting issues in both testing and prototype phases
- Developing troubleshooting procedures and workaround documents
- Reviewing and providing feedback on system specifications, development, testing, and network documents as needed, and representing the Integration team
- Automating scripts to configure and maintain remote hosts
Qualifications
- Current, active in-scope DoD-issued Top Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start
- Current active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.)
- Proficient in Linux, scripting (Bash, Python, etc.)
- Understanding of automation and implementation
- Skilled in troubleshooting methods
- Experience with Ansible or other automation tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in developing scripts using Ansible
- Knowledge of containerized virtual environments
- Experience with Windows Server and PowerShell scripting
- Experience in setting up, configuring, and maintaining databases
- Knowledge of DoD integration processes, Agile and DevOps methodologies, and automated testing tools
- Knowledge of virtualized environments and software testing
- Experience in the integration of system components within a test environment
- Familiarity with virtualized systems, security design, and implementation
