About the role

This position is for an integration engineer who will be responsible for integrating lab test suites within a development lab. The role involves assisting software development personnel with issue investigation and resolution, developing configurations for testing and system prototypes, and representing the integration team.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate lab test suites in a development lab.
  • Assist software development personnel with the investigation and resolution of issues.
  • Develop configurations to support tests and prototypes of developing systems.
  • Create and modify scripts to perform data analysis of input, internal, and output message data.
  • Troubleshoot test and prototype issues, developing procedures and work-around documents.
  • Review and provide feedback on system specifications, development, test, and network documents.
  • Automate scripting to configure and maintain remote hosts.

Requirements

  • An advanced degree and 3+ years of experience, a bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience as a software tester or integrator is required.
  • Hands-on experience with integration processes, Agile and DevOps methodologies, and automated test tools.
  • Proficiency in Linux and scripting (bash, python).
  • Understanding of automation and implementation.
  • Working knowledge of virtualized environments and software testing.
  • Experience in the integration of system components within a test environment.
  • Familiarity with virtualized systems and security design and implementation.
  • Proven experience with Ansible or other automation tools.

Qualifications

  • IAT - Level II certification is required.
  • Experience developing scripts in Ansible.
  • Knowledge of containerized virtual environments.
  • Experience with Windows Server and PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience setting up, configuring, and maintaining databases.
  • Additional script experience is a plus.
