Integration and Training Instructor

Location: Undisclosed overseas location (US travel required). Full-time, non-exempt position.

About the Role

The Integration and Training Instructor conducts training for protective security personnel in overseas locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct integration training for personnel in overseas locations.
• Coordinate and conduct refresher training and firearms re-qualifications for personnel.
• Direct and mentor integrated protective security personnel and operations on a day-to-day basis at the team level.
• Ensure PRS assignments are conducted in accordance with Post policy.
• In the absence of a Shift Leader, coordinate initial mission planning for PRS assignments, including scheduling route and site surveys, and assigning protective assignments in coordination with the TOC and other RSO personnel.
• Perform day-to-day personal protective security functions, as required.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Minimum of 2 years as an instructor in a security field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working as a full-time firearms instructor, earned as part of federal, state, or local government training assignments.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in protective security assignments.
• At least 2 years of this experience must have been in a supervisory or in-charge capacity.
• At least 6 months of this experience must have been in protective security under WPS III or any of its predecessor contracts.

Work Environment

The work environment may involve exposure to extreme cold or hot weather conditions during visits to areas of operations. Occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Frequently required to move about inside the facility to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Occasionally required to stand; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
