Integrated Solutions Intern

Program Overview

A spring‑to‑summer internship designed to build technical, customer support, and field service skills using John Deere Precision Ag technology.

Spring Semester (January – May, Part‑Time)

• Complete John Deere University (JDU) coursework
• Learn Operations Center, GPS, guidance systems and connectivity
• Shadow Integrated Solutions specialists
• Answer customer calls and learn support processes
• Build skills needed for summer field work

Summer Semester (May – August, Full‑Time)

• Support equipment setup and delivery
• Assist customers remotely and in the field
• Perform software updates and machine technology checks
• Help troubleshoot Precision Ag systems during planting and harvest
• Work directly with growers and dealership teams

What We Are Looking For

• Majors in Precision Agriculture, Agricultural Technology, ASM, Agribusiness, Information Systems, or related fields
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
• Passion for agriculture and technology

Internship Goal

• Support customers using Precision Ag technology
• Troubleshoot common display, guidance, and connectivity issues
• Assist with field service and equipment setup
• Develop into a future Integrated Solutions professional

Qualifications

• Students currently enrolled in AG Tech programs or Solutions‑Based programs
• Hands‑on position initially based in the West Central Equipment office, Martinsburg, PA
• Willingness to travel to various locations in the area
• Flexible hours during the school term; 8 am – 5 pm, Monday‑Friday during summer months
• Must be willing to download company apps on a personal phone

Schedule

Flexible part‑time hours during the spring semester; full‑time 8 am – 5 pm, Monday‑Friday during the summer semester.
