Responsibilities
- Manage RF-based technologies such as proximity, height-of-burst (HOB), unmanned RF payloads, or seeker sensors across various platforms like missile, rocket, Electronic Warfare (EW), and gun-launched munitions.
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle from initial requirements through manufacturing.
- Collaborate with customers to solve mission challenges, evaluate technical feasibility, and understand technical risks.
- Daily engagement with the technical team to refine designs, make trade-offs, resolve issues, mentor junior team members, support testing, and provide on-site support.
- Work with Product Management to develop and maintain the technical aspects of the product roadmap.
- Collaborate with the Production team to ensure manufacturability and sustainability of products.
- Support Engineering Management by executing and improving best practices processes.
- Lead detailed system and subsystem development activities, including analysis, prototyping, and evaluation in laboratory and field test environments.
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers to build complete solutions and products.
- Analyze measured data from laboratory and/or field tests, compare expected performance to actual results, and enforce systems engineering processes and methodologies.
Requirements
- Minimum BS in an engineering discipline (e.g., electrical, mechanical, software) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 12 years of industry experience, including experience in project or IPT lead roles and completing the product development lifecycle on multiple projects/products.
- Experience with radar and/or electronic warfare product development.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and subject matter expertise.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Able to prioritize tasks and maximize productivity.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET DoD clearance.
- U.S. citizenship required.
Qualifications
- Preferred qualifications include experience in signal processing algorithms, managing programs, data analysis with scripting languages, developing requirements from customer needs, and using team collaboration tools.
